The ILS4 triggered switch boxes from Plug 'N' Grow may be plugged into this external timer to delay re-powering of the equipment when the power comes back after a brownout or failure. This timer is optional and sold separately. This adjustable timer protects the HID lights which need to cool down before to restart to avoid prematurely burning the bulbs. The timer is also useful to delay the starting of the heating equipment or the air conditioning system. It then decreases the power required when it gets back online. Moreover, the timer can trigger ON the ILS4 switcher box outlets sequentially: 1 at a time with 30 seconds between each outlet power up (ILS4T-1) or 2 outlets at a time with 30 seconds before the second pair of outlets power up (ILS4T-2).
